How to get going with your server really fast!

Getting Super Powers

Becoming a super hero is a fairly straight forward process. Just open a browser tab on your computer and simply go to the URL (the web address) of your server. It will look something like this.

https://sfa.architectsoffice.net

Each office has its own sub-domain to architectsoffice.net. In the above address, "sfa" is the subdomain. NO software is downloaded for using your server. It all happens inside a browser on your computer.

You will be presented with a login screen where the first person to enter MUST be the admin of your server.

When your TAD office management server was created, one user was always created. The username of that user is always going to be "admin" The password that was provided by our configuration robot would have been emailed to the person who ordered the server. Use that password to login and get inside your server.

The first time you get inside your own TAD Architects Office Management Server, the first step that admin has to do is to change his/her own password.

Congrats! Now you have super powers!

You can now add any number of users into your system! Each user you add would automatically get assigned an email address too; which is based on the address of your own server. For example; in the above case, if I add a user named "sabu" then the email address of that user would be [email protected]

As far as the rest of the world is concerned, that is the email address to send emails to the user named "sabu" at your server. They can send emails from any email system they care to use.

Important: Emails sent by the outside world as BCC to such a user will not get delivered, by default. See note below.

However, in your own office; the user named "sabu" can receive emails ONLY via this system. That user does not have to do any special configuration to receive emails.

Note: By default, BCC emails (i.e. blind-copy emails) are NOT delivered to any user at your server. If any specific user needs BCC emails also to be delivered, you would have to order a special request for an additional small amount of money
